Role Overview
Repairs Schedulers are required to lead a team of 5-6 tradespeople (roofers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers) and serve as their main point of contact.
Our ideal candidate is a tradesperson with the desire and skills to transition into an office-based role. The role's purpose is to ensure efficiency by communicating with trades on-site, providing guidance, ensuring timely job completion, and minimizing follow-up works.
Main Responsibilities
1. Manage daily schedules for a team of 5-6 trade operatives (electricians, plumbers, etc.).
2. Coordinate with trade operatives, tenants, and clients (local authorities or housing associations) via phone, email, and live chat regarding repair updates.
3. Arrange parts or materials for click/collect when not available from usual suppliers.
4. Log multiple work requests into the in-house job management system and track each through to completion.

Job Details
* Full-time, office-based position (no remote work).
* Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
* On a rota, occasional late work until 6 pm and one Saturday every four weeks, paid additionally.
