Commercial Vehicle Equipment | North East & Scotland | Field Based
A well-established manufacturer and supplier of commercial vehicle workshop equipment is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to support continued growth across the North East and Scotland.
This is a field-based role managing a defined territory, developing relationships with existing customers while identifying new opportunities across the commercial vehicle workshop sector.

The business is a recognised leader in its sector and invests heavily in marketing activity that consistently generates a high volume of high-quality inbound enquiries, providing the sales team with strong opportunities alongside territory development.

The Role
* Manage and grow relationships with existing customers across your territory
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within commercial vehicle workshops
* Promote a range of specialist workshop equipment including lifts, brake testers and related products
* Convert inbound sales enquiries generated through the company’s marketing activity
* Plan and manage your sales territory to maximise growth opportunities
* Attend regular sales meetings and contribute to wider commercial strategy
* Travel across the region with occasional overnight stays where required
The Candidate
This role would suit a driven field sales professional who enjoys building relationships, managing a territory and developing new business opportunities.
You will likely bring:
* Experience in a B2B sales or field sales environment
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A proactive approach to identifying and developing opportunities
* Good planning and organisation to manage a regional territory effectively
* A customer-focused mindset and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team
* A full UK driving licence is required and comfortable with one night a week away (fully expensed)
