We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Asset Management and Remarketing team within the Transport division, which supports the transition to electric vehicles and promotes sustainability.
Team Responsibilities
The team manages manufacturer relationships, used leasing, and asset value optimization for vehicles returning from customers. The role involves creating strategies for vehicle asset management from purchase to disposal, crucial during the UK's transition to electric vehicles.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of the motor industry, vehicle finance/leasing, and a proven track record in remarketing, supplier management, product development, and contract management. Innovation, motivation, and tangible results are key qualities.
Key Accountabilities
* Create and implement end-to-end vehicle asset management strategies, manage OEM and third-party relationships, and ensure circularity in residual value and asset management.
* Manage vehicle remarketing, negotiate with suppliers, and meet finance targets.
* Oversee procurement, service, and remarketing suppliers to fulfill contractual obligations.
* Expand the used leasing proposition through broker and corporate channels, and introduce D2C options.
Role Impact
* Manage vehicle portfolios to maximize profitability and ensure timely disposal.
* Oversee supplier performance, including purchases, logistics, refurbishment, and customer service.
* Lead a team of Account Managers, build stakeholder relationships, and influence business decisions.
