What we are looking for:
we are looking for an SAP consultant to join our client's dynamic IT team
We are looking for an SAP consultant to join the IT team of our client in the agri-food sector, operating in France, Europe, and the United States. The consultant will be involved with the following SAP modules:
MM, PP, QM, O2C,
and
SD
. Knowledge of all five modules is not required but would be considered a strong asset. The role will be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of SAP solutions to support the business in line with the group's strategy, across all functions related to the mentioned modules. The consultant will work directly with BPOs, oversee the integrator's consultants, and ensure the performance of their functional IT scope. He/she will also be responsible for sharing best practices within their area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities
· Serve as the IT functional counterpart to BPOs to define SAP requirements, oversee implementations with external providers, and ensure ongoing Application Maintenance and Support (AMS).
· Contribute to the current SAP deployment project: coordination, data conversion, user acceptance testing (UAT), and cutover activities.
· Manage incidents, service requests, and system enhancements (RUN) related to procurement and production.
· Engage effectively with business stakeholders, challenge requirements when needed, and propose suitable solutions.
· Configure SAP modules and draft functional specifications.
Required Qualifications
· years of experience with SAP as a consultant or IT team member, with a proven track record in digital transformation initiatives (application modernization, architecture roadmaps, ERP implementation, process optimization, and IT team development).
· Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including S&OP, planning, MRP, and associated business challenges.
· Hands-on experience in production and supply chain modules (MM, PP, QM, SD, O2C - Knowledge of all these modules is a plus).
· Previous experience in the food & beverage industry or a comparable industrial environment (Quality - Hygiene – Safety)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proven experience in both project execution and RUN/support environments.
· Fluent in English.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Located in the East Midlands (UK), with easy access to major cities.
Occupation:
Full-time position, mainly onsite (4 days per week) with 1 day remote.
Contract duration:
indefinite (permanent position).
Employment Type:

* Possibility to begin as a contractor through Penon Partners for an initial period of 3 to 6 months before transitioning to direct employment with the client.
Requirements :

* Willingness and ability to travel to France:
* Up to
2 weeks in North of France
for training purposes during onboarding.
* Future travel of up to
1 week every 2–3 months
for project-related activities.
