Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in housekeeping with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service. This role involves overseeing the Domestic / laundry staff, ensuring that all areas are impeccably maintained, and providing exceptional service to our residents.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Domestic team to ensure efficient operations.
* Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities, adhering to established cleanliness standards.
* Train and supervise staff members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
* Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and in good condition.
* Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service at all times.
* Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
* Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless resident experiences.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or commercial cleaning environment.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with residents and staff.
* Previous domestic experience of a high standard is an advantage.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
