Freight Account Manager – Bristol
We’re looking for a confident, driven individual to join our team at our Bristol depot as a Freight Account Manager.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys speaking to people, isn’t afraid to pick up the phone, and is motivated by hitting targets and earning results. Experience is great — but attitude, energy, determination, and a good sense of humour matter more to us.
A big part of this role involves outbound calling and building new relationships, so confidence and resilience are key.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Making outbound (cold) calls to generate new business opportunities
* Building and managing your own portfolio of customer accounts
* Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients
* Negotiating rates and closing deals
* Coordinating freight shipments and ensuring everything runs smoothly
* Working closely with internal teams and external partners
* Keeping records up to date and managing your pipeline
* Playing a key role in hitting targets and growing the business
What We’re Looking For
* Confidence on the phone — you’re comfortable making cold calls
* A driven, target-focused mindset
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Resilience and a positive attitude (you don’t give up easily)
* Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
* Willingness to learn — logistics experience is a bonus, not essential
* A team player who wants to be part of a growing business
