As a SEN Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils' achievement and ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a Teacher with SEMH experience who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. We are looking for a Class Teacher experienced with SEMH in teaching a range of subjects who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Experience of working in the independent SEMH sector and with pupils with SEN would be advantageous. This role will be based at our Cotswold Lodge site, working with a small group of pupils. Please contact the Headteacher for more details. Visits to the school are encouraged.
The successful candidate must be familiar with and willing to adopt a therapeutic approach to teaching and working with SEN/SEMH pupils. Educated to degree level and holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), you should be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative teaching style, motivated by helping every pupil reach their potential.
Qualifications:
