The Opportunity
We are looking for a friendly, approachable and reliable Leisure Club Attendant to join our team. This role is central to creating a welcoming, safe and well‑organised leisure environment where members feel comfortable, confident and supported.
Taking a Human Givens approach, you’ll help meet people’s core needs for safety, belonging, reassurance and enjoyment, ensuring every member’s visit is a positive experience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
1. Ensuring the leisure club facilities are clean, tidy and well maintained at all times
2. Setting up and clearing away equipment for fitness classes and leisure activities efficiently and safely
3. Assisting members with gym and leisure equipment, ensuring correct and safe use
4. Providing warm, attentive and professional customer service to all members and guests
5. Supporting the sale of memberships and leisure services by communicating benefits clearly and positively
6. Following health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for members and colleagues
7. Identifying and reporting any faults, maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Leisure Club Manager
8. Supporting the opening and closing of the leisure club as required
9. Completing required records and paperwork accurately and on time
