The role involves leadership support of a quality management system, ensuring compliance with business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements. It includes managing a quality assurance team, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting business improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
* Delivering elements of an annual business plan on time and within budget
* Providing strategic advice on quality assurance to senior leadership
* Chairing quality assurance team meetings
* Line management of QA team members
* Managing external certification programs and audits
* Overseeing internal and external audit processes
* Investigating non-conformance issues and implementing corrective actions
* Leading management system content reviews and improvements
* Developing and delivering training on quality and audit topics
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
* Supporting supply chain performance and sustainability initiatives
Required skills and experience:
* Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and ISO9001 standards
* Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience in construction, consultancy, or facilities management industries
* Formal auditor training
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and data analysis tools
* Leadership and team management experience
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Degree level education or equivalent experience
Additional preferred qualifications:
* Knowledge of other ISO standards (ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO44001, ISO27001)
* Membership in a relevant professional body
