SEN Teaching Assistant
Location – Tameside
Pay - £90 - £100 per day depending on experience
Teaching Personnel are seeking a caring individual with a strong passion for making a difference in young people’s lives. The role gives you the opportunity to work in an Ofsted Outstanding rated school in East Manchester. This is a fantastic chance for someone who wants to gain experience in education and develop their own growth.
Within this role, you will be:
* Working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-to-one scenario or in small groups.
* Liaising with other members of staff about the students you are working alongside.
* Adapting materials for students struggling to access the main curriculum.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Requirements
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
• GCSE level standard education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
