AITT are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join our office team based in Hugglescote, Leicestershire. The role is a permanent, part-time position (upon completion of probation period) and will be based from our head office and also include some flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing day-to-day bookkeeping, including sales and purchase ledgers
* Processing invoices, payments, and receipts
* Managing employee expense claims
* Bank reconciliations and preparing accurate financial reports
* Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
* Managing payroll and pension contributions
* Completing VAT returns
* Supporting annual audit and compliance requirements
* Liaising with external accountants and auditors
* General financial administration to support the smooth running of the Association
What we're looking for
Essential:
* Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounts role
* AAT level 3 qualification
* Strong knowledge of accounting software (Ideally Xero)
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Expected Hours: 15-20 per week
Pay: £28,100 per annum (pro-rata)
