We are recruiting for a full-time Delivery Mate / Backup Delivery Driver for a furniture retail business based in Eccles, Manchester. This is a hands-on role, and we are specifically looking for candidates who already have experience handling and delivering furniture. Role overview: * Furniture deliveries (sofas, beds, large items) to customers’ homes including assemblies and removals (all training provided) * Working as part of a delivery crew * Warehouse support: loading/unloading, stock movement * Occasional in-store support moving furniture * Customer-facing, so professionalism is essential Key requirements: * Proven experience handling furniture deliveries * Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting * Full UK driving licence essential * Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (no weekends) Pay: Competitive, £14–£17.93 per hour depending on experience
