Solar has been rated good by the CQC and runs in partnership with Barnardo's and Autism West Midlands to provide emotional, wellbeing and mental health services to children and young people in Solihull. Solar TEDS are Health Services Journal finalists for 2024. TEDS continually strive to ensure the best possible outcomes and high-quality service delivery for children and young people with an eating disorder in Solihull.
The successful candidate will provide assessment, care, treatment and support to an allocated group of children and young people (CYP) within the Eating Disorders Service (TEDS).
The Eating Disorder Team (TEDS) offers assessment and intervention for a wide range of eating disorders. The post holder will participate in relevant training and ongoing professional development. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work with a high motivated team.
Main duties of the job
Job Summary
To provide assessment and treatment of specialist eating disorder patients alongside the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will care-coordinate an allocated group of patients as well as contributing to multi-disciplinary team working and ensure care delivery meets and addresses issues around spirituality, equality diversity and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation. There will be opportunities for continuous professional development and the post holder will have some autonomy to develop areas of interest.

Nursing
* Genuine interest in working with young people
* NMC Registration
* Eating Disorder Experience
* Demonstrates experience of working in a multi disciplinary team.
* Experience of working with a variety of different mental health presentations .
* Experience of assessing and treating children and young people with eating disorders .
* Experience of forming care plans for children and young people with Eating Disorders
* Ability to deliver psychological interventions .
