40 hours per week (9am to 6pm, including one hour of unpaid break)
Monday to Thursday – office based; Friday – work from home.

Job brief
The Senior HR & Payroll Administrator is responsible for overseeing the smooth and accurate administration of HR processes and payroll operations for the UK office. This role involves managing employee data, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards, and maintaining accurate payroll records. The Senior HR & Payroll Administrator plays a key role in supporting the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, and performance management.
Responsibilities
HR Administration:
* Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of employee records, including personal data, job information, and employment status.
* Inputting/processing details relating to employees’ contractual amendments, bonuses, change of personal details, etc.
* Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, coordinating and conducting interviews, and managing candidate communications and right to work checks.
* Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and ensure accurate processing.
* Administer and manage employee benefits programs, such as pension, health insurance and other perks.
* Prepare and track employee leave requests, including sick, vacation, and parental leave.
* Supporting on ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
Payroll Administration:
* Process payroll monthly data, ensuring accuracy, working with our payroll provider.
* Maintain payroll records, including salary adjustments, overtime, commissions/bonuses and deductions.
* Handle any payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees.
* Prepare and file payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance and Reporting:
* Stay current with HR and payroll compliance requirements, including wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
* Prepare reports for management related to payroll, employee benefits, turnover, and other HR metrics.
* Work closely with finance, auditors to ensure all payroll and HR-related compliance standards are met.
Process Improvement:
* Identify areas for process improvements within the HR and payroll functions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
* Implement new technologies or systems that improve payroll and HR operations.
The above list of duties is not exhaustive. You will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the HR team.
Requirements/ Skills
* Experience of working in a HR Admin role (minimum 2 years).
* Prior end-to-end payroll processing experience
* Knowledge of tax and NIC (beneficial but not essential)
* Knowledge and understanding of pension providers.
* Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects
* Strong IT, excel and numerical skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic
* CIPD Level 3 Foundation (or working towards the qualification) will be advantageous but not essential.
