Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements: We need substantial hands-on experience in business continuity and operational resilience. We need a strong grounding in IT and technology risk. We need proven experience managing supplier and third-party risk. We need confidence presenting at Board or Executive level. We need a track record of managing crises or major incidents. Relevant professional certifications such as CISM, ISO 22301, ICA or PRINCE2 are desirable. Experience with recognised operational and technology resilience frameworks is desirable. We need sound judgement and the ability to cut through ambiguity. We need strong stakeholder influence and the ability to operate at both Board and operational level. We need someone who remains clear-headed under pressure and can make decisive decisions when it matters. We need an analytical approach to risk assessment and control design. Responsibilities: We will own and continually improve the Business Continuity Management framework. We will design and run disaster recovery simulations and resilience exercises. We will lead crisis management planning and incident response. We will coordinate resilience assurance across third-party suppliers. We will define and maintain technology resilience standards, including DR, backup and RTO/RPO frameworks. We will provide independent assurance that critical systems are protected and recovery plans are tested. We will support access controls, credentials management and authentication reviews for critical platforms. We will build and manage a supplier and partner risk framework. We will ensure due diligence and ongoing monitoring is in place for suppliers supporting critical services. We will report regularly to the Board and Audit & Risk Committee. We will maintain oversight of key controls and assurance activities across the business.
