A leading Charity is currently recruiting an Accounting Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an employer with an excellent reputation in the local market and who provide an essential service across Northern Ireland.
The Ideal Person
* Qualified Accounting Technician (or equivalent) plus at least two year's relevant post-qualification experience obtained in the last 5 years
OR
* At least 4 years relevant and recent experience operating as an Accounting Technician (QBE) ideally within the last 5 years (experience to include posting journals, prepayments & accruals, VAT, balance sheet reconciliations (to include bank reconciliations) and annual returns in line with the principal duties outlined for the role)
* Available at short notice.
Responsibilities
* Posting month-end journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation & VAT.
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Preparation of monthly income reconciliations.
* Prepare or assist with preparation of financial analysis reports.
* Provide cover for the Income team, when required.
Provide assistance with data cleansing of all relevant data on current systems.
* Assist with data migration preparations across all relevant modules, including the completion of templates.
* Assist with reconciliation activities between legacy and new ERP systems to ensure data integrity and accurate financial reporting.
