Role overview
As a Mid-Senior Creative Copywriter at La Plage, you will play a crucial role in bringing clients' visions to life through compelling and conceptual campaigns, marketing assets and branding campaigns – everything from social and digital to experiential, CRM, and more.
Hands-on and very organised, you’ll be working on multiple projects simultaneously, able to get each job done to the highest standard. Reporting directly to the senior members of the creative team and collaborating closely with designers and other team members, you’ll produce engaging content that captivates audiences across platforms.
With an interest in storytelling and craft, you are passionate about bringing ideas to life through copy and conceptual thinking, constantly solving high-level creative challenges while taking responsibility for the details, such as proofreading your work and following brand guidelines.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with agency experience, who has a positive working attitude and is a conceptual, creative thinker with a flair for crafting compelling copy that resonates with diverse audiences.
As aMid-Senior Creative Copywriterat La Plage, you will be responsible for:
* Concept Development: Collaborating with art directors, designers, and strategists to develop original, innovative concepts for campaigns across multiple channels
* Copywriting: Crafting engaging, persuasive, and on-brand copy for a variety of formats, including headlines, scripts, taglines, long-form content, internal comms, and social media posts
* Brand Voice Development: Defining and maintaining a consistent tone of voice for clients, ensuring all communications align with their brand identity
* Client Collaboration: Presenting ideas and copy to clients, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions, and incorporating feedback to refine outputs
* Campaign Execution: Working closely with production to ensure the seamless execution of creative ideas, from concept to delivery
* Trend Awareness: Staying up to date with industry trends, cultural moments, and emerging technologies to inform and inspire creative work
You will:
* Have proven experience as a conceptual copywriter in a creative agency or similar environment
* Have astrong portfolio showcasing a range of work, including conceptual campaigns, digital content, and brand storytelling
* Have exceptional writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences and platforms
* Have an understanding of advertising principles and the creative process, from understanding strategy to overseeing production elements, such as VO records and film shoots
* Have experience working on integrated campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social, and traditional media
* Have strong presentation skills, with the ability to pitch ideas confidently to clients and internal stakeholder
* Have knowledge of how to optimise copy for digital platforms
* Have an understanding of design principles and how copy interacts with visual
* Be able to create basic decks to present ideas, in Google Slides and Powerpoint
* Be creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail
* Be aproactive problem-solver with a positive, can-do attitude
* Be a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
* be a clear communicator who can articulate ideas clearly and persuasively
