Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager (Nights only)

Are you an experienced and proven warehouse leader with strong Pallet Network Hub and cross-dock experience? We are seeking a proactive and hands-on leader to coordinate our warehousing operations in Stoke-on-Trent on the night shift.
As Warehouse Operations Manager, you'll oversee the running of our warehouse during the night, and ensure it operates to the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency. You'll be responsible for managing the team, streamlining operations, and ensuring excellent service delivery to our customers.
Were looking for someone with real leadership presence someone who leads from the front, motivates their team, and isnt afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed. This is not a desk-based role; its a true operational leadership position where being on the floor and setting the pace is essential.
Key Skills and Qualifications to succeed in this role:
-Strong background in Pallet Network Hub operations and cross-dock logistics
- Prior experience managing a busy warehouse or logistics environment
- Confident leader with a hands-on approach to management
- Forklift licence essential
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Able to lead by example, inspire teams, and drive performance
- Experience with ISO procedures and compliance
Key duties & Responsibilities:
Manage all warehouse operations, including cross-docking, pallet force loading/unloading, storage, and pick & pack
Ensure all warehousing activities comply with health & safety standards and company procedures
Oversee staff deployment to maximise efficiency and minimise waiting times
Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers
Ensure accurate and timely documentation and system updates
Conduct regular checks on equipment, bay areas, and site security
Take ownership of holiday planning, shift management, and team development
