About the role
This is an exciting opportunity unlike other support roles, with Turning Point Scotland, no two days are the same!
Our role will include:
* Helping to provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.
* Supporting individuals within the community and engaging with their hobbies and interests and empowering individuals to develop skills and independence, promoting their overall growth.
* Attending various community groups and accompanying our service users to attend activities they are passionate about, from taking a trip to the cinema, enjoying a morning swim or attending local groups or community projects, accompanying on holidays and trips away with the individuals we support.
* Assisting with personal care, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
* Celebrating achievements and milestones, both big and small, to create a rewarding and positive environment.
About You
No previous working experience is needed; full training will be provided to you. We believe the right values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity are all you need to join our team.
You will have a genuine commitment to use your skills to support people to live their best lives. You will be supported by an approachable management team, allowing you to expand on your existing knowledge while developing new skills.
You will have flexibility to work on a rota.
Required skills and qualifications
IT skills required for all vacancies.
Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.

Relief Work
Relief Workers may be contacted to provide additional support for periods of leave, sickness absence or peak activity. Relief Workers submit a time sheet to claim payment for hours worked and are paid monthly. They will accrue some entitlement to paid holidays and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred. Relief work will not normally be suitable for people with full-time posts with other agencies.
