About Our Nursery
Godalming Bridge Road, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 136 children in a setting that includes a Grade II listed main building and a separate preschool building. Facilities include a large all-weather playground, a fully enclosed baby garden, an outdoor classroom, and tailored rooms for each age group. An onsite kitchen supports quality meals, with a spacious grassed garden overlooking Lammas Land and the River Wey. We are near Godalming town centre with easy transport links; Godalming and Farncombe train stations are within a short walk, and the A3 is a 10-minute drive. Free staff parking is available.

Role Responsibilities
What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner
* Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
* Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Key Person Role: Oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
Required Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education
* Proven experience working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
* Strong communication, good organisational skills, and ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities
