Overview
Senior Support Worker (Practice Lead) role at Achieve together. This role involves supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, PMLD, deafness, hearing loss and associated complex needs to live independent, fulfilling lives.
Location and terms: Postcode TA6 7QU; Pay Rate: £13.40; Contract type: Full time.
Responsibilities
* Support people in everyday life, celebrate achievements, encourage fun and creativity, and empower people to be a meaningful part of their local community.
* Provide person-centered support, being patient, kind and compassionate, and adapt to each person’s communication needs to enable independence and express needs and choices.
* Work independently with initiative and collaboratively with a team to achieve the wider goals for the people supported.
About You / Qualities
* New to social care? Training is provided to ensure you can provide the best possible support.
