Non-Obstetric Sonographer | 12-Month Contract | East of England | £75 p/h * (PAYE Only
We are currently supporting a high-demand ultrasound project with a well-established NHS service in the East of England. Due to ongoing demand, we are looking to build a strong pool of experienced Sonographers for this long-term opportunity.
Location: East of England (Peterborough / Cambridge)
Start: ASAP
Contract Length: 12 months
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (no weekends)
The Role
* Non-obstetric ultrasound (minimal MSK / head & neck)
* Adult patients only
* Community-based diagnostic setting
* Initial site-based training provided, followed by independent scanning
* Full training and competency support included (fully paid)
Pay Structure
* £25 per scan (approx. £75 per hour equivalent)
* Minimum 20 patients paid per day
* Typically 21–22 patients booked
* Paid for DNAs (no-shows)
* PAYE only (non-negotiable)
Requirements
* HCPC Registration (essential)
* NHS ultrasound experience
* Strong general ultrasound competency
* Ability to commit to consistent weekday availability
