The BUK CISO is seeking a motivated, technically skilled individual to join the BUK Cyber Assurance Team within BUK CISO. This role supports various cyber domains, including:
1. Penetration Testing: Supporting daily penetration testing for BUK applications, coordinating with third-party vendors and Barclays application teams to scope and execute tests.
2. Application Security: Engaging with BUK application teams to onboard services to security toolsets, communicating findings, and ensuring remediation aligns with standards.
3. Infrastructure Vulnerability Management: Reporting and driving remediation of infrastructure vulnerabilities across BUK services within SLAs, supporting application development.

Purpose of the role
To act as a primary liaison between the business, technology, and security functions, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, and supporting security risk mitigation.
Accountabilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security requirements and enhance risk management
* Perform risk assessments and communicate findings to senior stakeholders
* Develop and implement security policies and procedures aligned with risk management frameworks
* Manage the implementation and monitoring of security controls across IT systems
* Conduct training to raise cybersecurity awareness
* Manage complex cybersecurity incidents with IT and response teams
* Identify emerging trends and advocate for new security solutions
