The Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a Non‑Executive Director to join our board and support the next phase of IFBGaming’s development.
This is a voluntary role designed for an individual who can provide independent perspective, strategic guidance, and constructive challenge at board level.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic advice and oversight
* Support governance, accountability, and organisational development
* Contribute to shaping partnerships and growth opportunities
* Offer independent challenge and informed judgement
* Support the organisation’s positioning across community, policy, and systems
Person Specification
We welcome interest from individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Public sector, policy, or governance
* Digital inclusion, social impact, or community development
* Partnerships, business development, or corporate engagement
* Technology, telecoms, or innovation
This role is particularly suited to individuals who are:
* Currently employed or engaged in a professional role, and able to contribute strategic insight at board level
* Interested in applying their experience in a non‑executive capacity
* Able to think independently and provide constructive challenge
* Aligned with the organisation’s mission and values
Time Commitment
* Approximately 3 board meetings per year
* Occasional ad hoc engagement where appropriate
* Meetings typically held online (60–90 minutes)
Remuneration
This is a voluntary (unpaid) position.
