Robert Half has partnered with a growing, high-performing technology organisation looking to add an additional Desktop Support Engineer to the team in London.
They are looking for the Desktop Support Engineer to deliver critical IT support within a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This is an on-site role in Central London, with occasional travel to other locations.
The Role
You'll provide hands-on support, act as a technical escalation point, and ensure a high-quality, responsive service across a busy service desk.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver 1st/2nd line desktop support and resolve incidents quickly
2. Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
3. Manage tickets effectively, ensuring regular updates and timely resolution
4. Support user onboarding/offboarding and maintain service standards
5. Respond to monitoring alerts, incidents, and security issues
6. Maintain documentation and improve processes
7. Support patching, licensing, and vulnerability management
8. Work closely with stakeholders and conduct service reviews
Requirements
9. Proven Desktop Support / IT Support experience
10. Strong Microsoft stack (AD, Azure AD, Windows, M365)
11. Experience with ITSM tools (ConnectWise desirable)
12. Basic networking knowledge (LAN, firewalls, troubleshooting)
13. Strong communication and customer service skills
14. Highly organised with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
