Job Title: Tool Stores Operator
Location: RAF Marham - Onsite
Salary: £24,337
What you’ll be doing:
* Reporting to the support Equipment Lead the Tool Store Operator will be responsible for the daily control of tools and support equipment within the M&FF.
* Responsible for ensuring appropriate identification, recording and monitoring of tooling/equipment held in the tool store, to enable maintenance activities to be completed to the agreed maintenance Statement of Work in line with the maintenance schedule.
* Utilising the appropriate tool control systems and local operating procedures to control the issue and receipt of all tooling and support equipment into and out of the M&FF tool stores.
* Co-ordinating with Logistics and the SECA, when required, to gather items of equipment from across the RAF Marham site in support of maintenance activities within the M&FF
* The role holder may be required to carry out additional or alternative tasks from time to time, subject to holding the appropriate qualifications
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
* Experience in the control and issue of aircraft tooling and equipment within a Part 145 approved organisation
* Working to delivery requirements to make sure tooling and equipment is at point of use when required
* Ability to collaborate with multiple agencies to facilitate the loan and procurement of key tooling and equipment
Desirable
* Experience driving LGV’s/PSV’s

The team:
You’ll be joining a close-knit team of four, reporting directly to the Support Equipment (SE) Lead. This team plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and accountable tool control within the Maintenance & Final Finish Facility (M&FF). Because even a single unaccounted-for tool can ground an aircraft, the work is detail-driven, disciplined, and essential to operational output.
