Coating Operative

Hours of Work:

This shift pattern will be a 3 shift pattern and will work out as approx. 163 Hours a month - £13.25 PH plus Shift Allowance

Shift Pattern

* Shift A week Monday to Friday
* Shift B, Monday to Thursday, Friday
* shift C Nights AM - Monday to Thursday

Location: Wrexham

Role Summary:

Tritech Group are manufacturing experts and suppliers of precision products to global Aerospace & Defence industry giants and to support our rapid growth we are recruiting for a range of positions across our UK facilities.

As a Coating Operative, you will play a vital role in preparing wax moulds for the investment casting process. Your primary responsibilities will include degreasing, hand coating, and operating automated robotic equipment such as the Shellamatic and V/A robot. You will follow strict quality and safety procedures, ensure departmental cleanliness, and support the coating cycle through use of the autoclave

. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The employee will willingly undertake, upon request, any other task they are able to perform. Elements of the role may vary as new technology, procedures and equipment are introduced.

Key Responsibilities:

· Degreasing and hand coating of wax moulds

· Use of Shellamatic robot

· Use of V/A robot

· Follow all quality procedures within the Coating Department.

· Cleanliness of department

· Use of Autoclave

Person Specification:

· Previous experience within a production environment would be desirable but full training will be given, experience within a manufacturing background would be highly preferred however not essential.

· Excellent attendance and time keeping.

· A willingness to learn new skills.

· Dedicated and motivated individual.

· A loyal and likeable character who shows honesty and integrity.

· We are seeking someone with good communication skills and a good team player with an abundance of common sense and a can-do attitude.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Highly motivated and likes to work on own initiative.

· Applicants must adhere to strict Company & Health and Safety procedures.

Package on offer:

Pension: 5% min personal contribution, Company contribution of 3%

Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 BH (Pro-rata)

Life Insurance: 2 x annual salary Death in Service
