About The Role Due to rapid business growth we are looking for an Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor to join our team in Scotland. The role will include planning, teaching and completing assessments for learners engaged on Apprenticeships in Business Skills programme. You will have a caseload of learners that you will visit on client site to coach, mentor and guide them through their apprenticeship programme, keeping them engaged to ensure they are on target to reach the objectives agreed in their Individual Learning Plan. About The Person Work with the Apprenticeship Delivery Manager Scotland to achieve agreed volumes for learner engagement, retention and achievement in line with business strategy and plans. Complete assessment and in accordance with the standards for the TAQA Award. Work with internal and external partners to ensure that agreed quality standards are met Work effectively with the employers to ensure that learners successfully complete their full Apprenticeship framework by their planned achievement date. Ensure that all aspects of the Apprenticeship Programmes are delivered in accordance with the key processes contained within the organisation's Process Manual. Ensure that programmes are delivered in accordance with the organisation's Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety Policies. Provide good quality, accurate information and data on learner recruitment, retention, progress and achievement. Ensure all required learner documentation is available to support financial claims to the funding body. Your Skills & Experience Previous experience of assessing learners on apprenticeships in Business Skills programmes A1 Assessor Award A recognised Business and Administration/Sales/Customer Service qualification would be desirable, but is not essential Experience in delivering Technical Certificate training is desirable Good knowledge of Government funded Apprenticeship programmes Knowledge of the Business and Administration, Sales and Customer Service Apprenticeship frameworks and Digital Media Excellent knowledge of business requirements, processes and methodologies. Business and Administration skills including Digital skills Excellent communication skills Ability to identify individual learner needs Ability to provide feedback in a way that motivates individual learners Understanding of equality and diversity issues and how these impact on the assessment process Ability to identify and help learners to overcome potential barriers to progress and achievement Ability to prioritise tasks and organise self to achieve goals and targets Proactivity and use of initiative Effective pedagogical approach to learning Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build upon relationships Working at all times lawfully and in accordance with our pre-defined regulatory, compliance and financial requirements e.g. Data Protection, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety Working at all times in accordance with procedures, group/company policy and processes Working at all times adhering to the company Safeguarding policy
