Job Purpose To provide domestic and social support promoting independence and wellbeing Location Gillingham, NR34 Details I have issues with balance and mobility so am looking to employ a Personal Assistant to support me with everyday domestic tasks, allowing my husband and daughter some respite. I use a wheelchair but can walk short distances, however I do tire easily. I enjoy DIY and gardening but cannot manage big projects at the moment. My PA would help me to undertake tasks rather than doing them for me entirely, and I would enjoy having someone who could take me out for coffee, or shopping. Mt PA also needs to be an animal lover as I have three cats. No personal care is required. Person specification · Well organised and reliable· Shared interests· Driver, own car with appropriate class of insurance an advantage Summary terms and conditions · The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour · Hours and times of work: 4 hours weekly on a flexible basis, 2 X 2hr sessions either late morning or afternoons, no weekends required.· 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays· Free Careskills training The post is subject to the following: · A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months Services
