About The Business Unit
We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators around the globe. From preparing the business case and advising on related issues – such as revenue, procurement, and environmental legislation – to delivering the completed infrastructure and helping maintain it. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle. We play a major role in developing and delivering the Global Transport Sector Strategy.
Overview Of The Role
This is an opportunity for a motivated and experienced project administrator or document controller to join our Transport and Mobility Solutions (TMS) team supporting the delivery of highways and transport infrastructure projects for a range of private and public sector clients across the UK. As the Project Administrator, you will be part of the project management team with a primary focus on overall quality control, document management, and smooth project operations. You will work alongside a Project Controls Lead and/or Project Manager and be responsible for the management and maintenance of the document management system and common data environment, staying on top of version control, access to documentation and project onboarding.
Your role will require you to coordinate with the wider project team, and to support in tasks to assist with general project coordination such as organising meetings, preparing meeting agendas, action logs and paperwork preparation for site visits.
You will be confident in engaging with technical teams, proactive in your approach to tasks and be able to work independently to meet deadlines.
Candidate specification
Essential
* Knowledge of information management systems e.g. SharePoint, Autodesk BIM360 and ProjectWise
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work as part of a team
Desirable
* Experience of working in engineering sectors or on infrastructure projects
* Knowledge of project delivery using ISO processes
* SharePoint project site administration and setup
* Experience with PowerBI or analytics
* Experience with Asite Common Data Environment
