Technical Services Consultant – Lyra Technology Group
Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Technical Services Consultant for our OpCo, CMS Group Ltd. The Technical Services Consultant will be working as 3rd line support and escalation for the support teams when located in the office but will be primarily responsible for deployment of new solutions to customer sites. These solutions will vary between infrastructure deployments and SaaS deployments. (M365 Services mostly)

Your work as a Technology Services Consultant will include the following duties:
• Perform technical site visits to customer locations, for installations and audits.
• Conduct wireless and network audits, assessing key infrastructure components for performance, security, and compliance.
• Work with the Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform and team to ensure seamless deployments, patching, and configuration of security baselines.
• Support customers’ on-premises, Azure, and third-party platforms by ensuring optimal system performance and security through RMM tools.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of deployments, troubleshooting processes, and project outcomes.
• Provide detailed reports to both internal teams and clients to track the progress and status of ongoing projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing outstanding technical advice and solutions to their challenges.
• Share knowledge with junior team members and help mentor less experienced staff to support their development.
• Lead internal training sessions to increase the overall technical knowledge of the team, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Our ideal Technology Services Consultant has the following qualifications:
• I.T Support experience required around 3rd Line Support.
• Experience of project implementation, monitoring and maintaining systems and networks.
• Expertise with installation and configuration of systems.
• Diagnosing faults on both hardware and software.
• Solving technical and application issues by phone, and email .
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple open tickets.
• Establish good working relationships with clients and team members.
• Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal.

The targeted base compensation for this role is £35,000- £40,000 per year based out of Preston, England.
