Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Pensions Actuarial Consultant to join a leading consultancy based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established actuarial team, supporting a portfolio of pension scheme clients and delivering high-quality actuarial advice across a range of projects.
This role would suit an actuarial professional with experience in pensions consulting who is looking to develop their technical expertise while building strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities of the Pensions Actuarial Consultant include:
* Supporting actuarial valuations and pension scheme funding work
* Providing advice on scheme funding, risk management and de-risking strategies
* Assisting with bulk annuity transactions, buy-ins and buy-outs
* Preparing reports, calculations and client deliverables
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with trustees and clients
* Working closely with senior consultants on a range of actuarial projects
The Pensions Actuarial Consultant will ideally have:
* Experience within pensions actuarial consulting
* Strong understanding of defined benefit pension schemes
* Progress towards actuarial qualifications is desirable
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
