Overview
12 month FTC. Up to £40,000 + Pension + PMI + ShareSave + 6.6 weeks holiday + Hybrid Working. We are looking for a Campaign & Advertising Executive to join the B&Q team in the Southampton Store Support Office. You’ll help develop and execute regional and local marketing campaigns for new stores, reactive support, and manage in-store radio. You will work with Campaign and Advertising Managers on national campaigns and support media planning and creative production across paid advertising channels.
Role Purpose
Leads the development and execution of all Regional and Local marketing campaigns for new stores, reactive support, and the management of in-store radio. Works with the Campaign and Advertising Managers on the development of new national trading and brand campaigns, for use across Customer & Digital, and on media planning and creative production across all paid advertising channels.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Local Marketing
* Leading the development of all new campaign creative for the new store launch programme, including creative direction for wider marketing channels and media planning and creative execution for paid advertising.
* Developing follow-on campaigns for stores requiring further reactive support.
* Managing the in-store radio programme, including vendor management and creative execution.
National Campaign Creative
* Leading the development of trading campaigns with Customer Planning Managers to ensure suitability across all channels in Customer & Digital.
* Working with Campaign and Advertising Managers on large-scale brand campaigns (Ease, Prices Nailed, Responsible Business).
* Partnering with Customer Planning and Commercial to ensure campaigns meet business and channel requirements.
* Managing the in-house studio and external creative agencies to develop campaign creative.
* Reporting on campaign effectiveness and outlining optimisation plans for improvement.
National Advertising Execution
* Collaborating with the Campaign and Advertising Managers on media strategy and planning for trading activity.
* Supporting on projects with creative execution of advertising campaigns.
* Reporting on advertising effectiveness and optimisation plans for improvement.
Financial Reporting & Budget Management
* Lead on managing Local and ISR budget (~£1.5m).
* Support managing production budget (~£3m).
* Support managing Trading media budget (~£6m).
* Raising POs and GRNs for invoices.
What We Need
Required Skills & Experience:
* End-to-end creative and campaign development experience.
* Confident evaluating and challenging media strategies with agencies and senior stakeholders.
* Proven experience leading national and local marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
* Comfortable working with internal teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners.
* Strong project management skills across multiple concurrent projects.
