Conrad Consulting is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded, forward-thinking consultancy in Hertfordshire as they look to appoint a talented Senior Building Surveyor to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor who enjoys a strong project bias, working across a diverse portfolio while developing expertise in technical delivery and client-facing responsibilities.
The Role
You will be involved in a wide range of professional and project-led building surveying duties, including:
* Delivering project-focused building surveying services across multiple sectors
* Preparing detailed specifications and schedules of work
* Managing projects through all stages, from inception to completion
* Acting as Contract Administrator on JCT contracts
* Advising on and navigating Building Regulations and planning applications
* Providing technical guidance with a strong emphasis on building technology
About You
* Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
* Ideally MCIOB or MRICS qualified
* Experience in project-led surveying roles within a consultancy environment
* Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration
* Solid understanding of Building Regulations and planning processes
* Excellent specification writing and technical detailing skills
* Proactive, client-focused, and commercially aware
