We are now recruiting forthree Deputy Heads of Construction Readiness, to be involved indeveloping a global supply chain and creating opportunities for the wider industry.
About the Role
As Deputy Head of Construction Readiness, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) programme. Reporting to the Head of Construction Readiness, you’ll be responsible for:
* Defining and developing our intelligent customer/client construction capability.
* Collaborating with engineering to ensure repeatable constructability of power plant design.
* Leading site safety, mobilisation, and logistics planning.
* Overseeing construction management IT systems, site quality, and regulatory compliance.
* Supporting testing and commissioning of infrastructure.
* Driving high-quality delivery, cost efficiency, and timely completion of the RR SMR programme.
You’ll work closely with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams to deliver a modular, standardised build across multiple geographies.

Key Selection Criteria
* Proven experience managinglarge-scale construction projects(civils, nuclear, oil & gas, or overseas).
* Strong understanding ofconstruction processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
* Excellentcommunication, negotiation, and problem-solvingskills.
* Experience incomplex programmeswith multiple supplier arrangements.
* Ability tomotivate and inspire teamsin a matrix organisation.
* Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent professional qualification (RICS, ICE, etc.).
