Brief Overview
Some agencies grow because of hype. Others grow because the work’s good, the clients stick, and people don’t want to leave.
This one sit firmly in the second camp. Over the past few years, they’ve built something genuinely solid – a B2B agency that quietly does very good work for clients who expect more than surface-level thinking. No smoke and mirrors. No churn & burn culture. Just smart people doing work that lands.
The retention is strong. The culture is grounded. The ambition is there, just without the noise or ego that usually comes with it. If you like the idea of doing meaningful work with people who actually enjoy working together, you’ll probably like it here.
The Role (where you come in)
This isn’t a post a press release and hope for the best job.
You’ll step in as the go-to person for Digital PR & Content & the one who connects the dots between story, search, and strategy. You’ll be creating campaigns that earn proper coverage, not just filler links, and finding angles that cut through even in sectors most people assume are hard to make interesting.
There’s a real blend to the role. You’ll be shaping content strategies that don’t just look good, but actually perform, owning what gets made and why, while building out influencer and creator relationships that genuinely add value in a B2B space. It’s hands-on, it’s strategic, and there’s space to make it your own.
What They’re Looking For (no unicorns required)
You’ve likely spent a few years in Digital PR, content, or something closely related. More importantly, you understand how PR, SEO, and content actually connect in the real world — not just how they’re described in theory.
You’ve got a natural nose for a story, even when it’s hidden in data or a niche subject, and you’re comfortable moving between thinking strategically and getting stuck into the detail.
You don’t overcomplicate things. You understand that good content needs to perform, not just look the part, and you’re curious enough to keep exploring new ways of making that happen. If you’ve worked in B2B, tech, engineering, or construction, great, but it’s not essential. What matters more is how you think and how you approach your work.
What You Get (the honest bit)
This is the kind of role where you’re trusted to own your space rather than just slot into someone else’s process. The work is varied, sometimes challenging, but rarely boring. You’ll be surrounded by people who care about what they do, without turning it into a drama.
There’s room to grow, room to shape your role, and importantly, room to get good ideas out the door without them getting stuck in layers of unnecessary process.
The salary sits between £36 – 42k, depending on experience – straightforward & fair.
And beyond that, it’s a place where you can do work, you’re genuinely proud of, without it taking over your life in the process.
Final Thought
This isn’t the loudest agency in Manchester. It’s one of the more solid ones.
And this role? It’s a chance to step into something that feels properly considered, where your ideas will land, your work will be seen, and your contribution will actually matter.
So if you’re good at what you do & you’re ready to do it somewhere that values that properly, do apply.
