Location: Duncrue Street, Belfast
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (45 hours per week)
About the Role
Manpower is recruiting for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join their Belfast operation.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading waste management and recycling company that is committed to sustainability, safety, and employee development.
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and delivery of waste materials while providing a professional service to customers across Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
- Collect and transport waste materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all driving legislation, tachograph regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards when attending customer sites.
- Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Assist operational teams as required to support the smooth running of the site.
Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid CPC Qualification Card.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous HGV driving experience.
- Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations.
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance.
Desirable
- Experience within the waste, recycling, environmental, or industrial sectors.
- ADR certification (advantageous but not essential).
