An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic Teacher of Support for Pupils – Learning, to join our team.
About the School
Crieff High School currently has a roll of approximately young people. Working together we strive to help all young people be the best they can. We aim to provide a positive learning environment for pupils and staff and our school vision is “A rights respecting school that nurtures, encourages and inspires young people to be the best they can be.”
Crieff High School can be found in the heart of Strathearn, and our School is part of Strathearn Community Campus. With many different partners operating from the campus including, Live Active Leisure and Culture Perth and Kinross, the opportunities available to both pupils and staff are well received. Our school catchment covers a wide area of beautiful landscapes and is a short commute from both Perth and Stirling of 30-40 minutes.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have appropriate qualifications and registration. The successful postholder should have a thorough knowledge of pedagogies that engage learners.
The successful candidate will take account of all learners in their classroom and ensure inclusive practices that leads to positive outcomes for learners.
High aspiration for learners, good communication skills and respectful relationships are key to the success of our school and the successful applicant will be skilled in positive relationship techniques including restorative approaches.
