Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time training and development role within Facilities Management. We are recruiting a Trainee Assistant Manager, providing a clear progression route into management roles across Soft FM. This role is part of Choice Facilities' succession planning strategy and aims to support our business growth.
The position is focused on training and development, with the successful candidate expected to complete leadership and service-specific training, both formal and on-the-job. You will work with Facilities supervisors and Operational Managers on various projects and daily service needs.

Main Duties
1. Support management, coordination, and development of all soft facilities services at CHoICE hospital sites, ensuring cost-effective delivery that meets Trust/CHoICE needs and complies with policies and regulations.
2. Assist in managing services in line with KPIs and budgets.
3. Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and align with best practices.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and codes of practice.
5. Review work schedules and monitor soft service activities regularly.
6. Maintain high service standards and compliance with SLAs.
7. Foster a positive working environment through effective leadership and communication.
8. Contribute to compiling monthly statistics and reports.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, or substantial supervisory experience in support services.
Willingness to pursue further qualifications such as ILM Level 2 or Higher Apprenticeship.
Package Details
40 hours/week with flexibility; standard hours 0800-1700, with 24/7 cover as needed.
