At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming educational support for children facing challenges such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD).
We are seeking enthusiastic SEN/SEND tutors who are ready to engage with at-risk and vulnerable learners. If you’re a qualified teacher eager to provide 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed manner, we want to hear from you!

Your Role as a SEN/SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible and holistic tutoring that is trauma-informed and tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute each tutoring session to meet the unique needs of your students.
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that foster educational and emotional growth.
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
Note: It is essential to promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and follow safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This position is as a Worker, providing short-term engagements as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
