Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) for our customers in the UB postcode area (Uxbridge/ Hayes/ Northolt/ Greenford/ West Drayton etc)\n\nPLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS ON A TEMPORARY ADHOC BASIS - SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED\n\n£19.00 to £22.00 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)\n(Depending on experience, overtime, nights, weekends etc)\n\n * Excellent rates of pay!\n\n * Weekly pay!\n\n * On-going position for the right candidates!\n\n * Register today and start work within 1 week!\n\n * Auto-enrolment pension after 3 months!\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Valid manual UK driving licence (CAT C+E) for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN or MS90 endorsements)\n\n * Valid CPC and TACHO\n\n * You must be over the age of 25 years – for insurance purposes\n\n * At least 1 year HGV Class 1 driving experience (references required)\n\n * Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C) in the past 12 months\n\n * Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting\n\n * Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members\n\n * Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards\n\nType of shifts (depending on Company):\n\n * A to B drops in and around M25, multi-drop (up to 3 drops)\n\n * Movies/TV and Events\n\n * Builders merchants and Scaffolding\n\n * Insulation & Dry Lining\n\n * Shifts are mainly during the week - Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)\n\nAll-round Duties:\n\n * Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues\n\n * Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels\n\n * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption\n\n * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations\n\nRates of pay:\n\n * We are paying for minimum 8 hours a day\n\n * Overtime is paid after 9 hours (breaks are not paid)\n\n * PAYE between £19.00 and £22.00 per hour (rates differ for experience, nights, weekends, bank/public holidays and overtime)\n\nFor the right candidates we are willing to up-skill you (HIAB certificate)\n\nDo you have the drive and experience?
