As a coach and a challenger, you’ll help shape environments where teams thrive, performance is real, and decisions are made with clarity.
The role is broad but typically centres around bringing the people strategy to life in a way that genuinely supports business goals. You’ll support the full employee lifecycle — from hiring plans and onboarding through to development, performance, and exits.
A key part of the remit is building leadership capability by coaching and constructively challenging where needed. Alongside this, you’ll provide support on employee relations and act as the voice of your region within the wider People team, shaping tools and policies that land well at the frontline. This is a high-impact, people-first, business-facing HR role. You’ll thrive in this role if you bring solid generalist HR experience from fast-paced, operational environments and feel confident navigating ER, TUPE, union engagement, and change management. You know how to balance empathy with tough conversations, always underpinned by commercial awareness. Risk is managed. And the business sees HR as a key enabler.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis of at least 3 days/week out in the region.
