Base pay range
Smart Dual Fuel Engineer – Basic Salary £37,700 + Quarterly Bonus. Pay may vary based on skills and experience.
We are looking for a qualified Dual Fuel Engineer with experience installing smart meters as the main directive. Candidates should have an understanding of current legislation, a focus on compliance, and a willingness to develop further skills. In this role you will be responsible for exchanging meters and will receive training in Revenue Protection, enabling you to inspect meters for tampering or theft while ensuring all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards. You will also engage in a variety of work streams through Engage Services, ensuring a diverse and dynamic role where every day offers something new.
Key Responsibilities
* Work on residential and commercial warrant projects.
* Detect and prevent cases of theft on metering equipment.
* Perform ongoing maintenance and emergency work on meter assets.
* Fault find on non‑communicating sites.
Requirements
* Dual Fuel Smart Metering experience.
* CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 qualifications or equivalent – currently in date.
* MOCOPA authorisation and/or Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering.
