Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE, + Benefits (including Study Support)
I'm looking to recruit an ambitious Management Accountant to support a busy and growing finance function, within an FMCG business. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll play a key part in cash management, month‑end processes, and maintaining accurate financial records, while collaborating across teams to keep operations running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting month‑end Management Accounts (journals, accruals, prepayments, reporting etc)
* Managing cash movements and maintaining accurate cashbook records
* Performing regular bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
* Assisting with accounts payable/receivable activities
* Preparing cash flow insights and supporting working capital management
* Maintaining audit‑ready financial records and documentation
* Partnering with internal teams to resolve finance queries
What they’re looking for:
* Experience in a finance, accounting, or cash management role
* Strong knowledge of reconciliations, cashbooks, and transactional finance
* Familiarity with accounting/ERP systems
* Solid Excel skills (formulas, data handling, basic analysis)
* High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Organised, proactive, and collaborative mindset
