About the Role
The Office Manager role is a key operational position within Pearson Carter, responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business across HR, Finance, and Office Management functions. You will be the backbone of day-to-day operations, supporting leadership and enabling the wider team to perform at their best.
Responsibilities
* Managing HR administration including employee records, absences, lateness tracking, and holiday management
* Supporting KPI tracking across teams and assisting managers with performance reporting
* Processing invoices and supporting accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
* Assisting with financial reporting and maintaining accurate financial records
* Acting as the main point of contact for office operations and supplier management
* Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
* Maintaining internal systems, documentation, and operational processes
* Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and company standards
* Supporting leadership team with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks
* Helping maintain company culture and operational efficiency across all departments
Required Skills
* Previous experience in an office management or administrative leadership role is preferred
* Proficiency in using Office 365, HR Systems and QuickBooks
* Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
