Fixed Term Contract: 6 months Location: Fareham Closing date for applications: Friday 24th May 2024 The opportunity: An exciting Fixed Term Contract opportunity has arisen to join our credit control team based in Fareham for 6 months. The team are responsible for making sure that credit control services are delivered seamlessly to our clients. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including delivery of process improvement projects, rectifying reliability issues, monitoring progress, tracking KPI’s, planning and coordination to meet targets whilst ensuring we delivery positive customer outcomes and a high-quality, cost-effective service. What will you be doing? Maintaining high performance levels for credit management processes, recommending and implementing improvement activities wherever necessary Taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with relevant parties and establishing effective communication between stakeholders to prevent re-occurrence Ensuring that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support effective service delivery Supports projects, working closely with others to deliver added value Maintains productivity, quality and service standards across teams in UK and working in partnership with our colleagues in the offshore team. Demonstrates knowledge of processes and procedures for effective credit control and takes a proactive role in improving efficiency and minimising bad debt. Manages internal & external stakeholders and builds strong relationships with teams Problem solver who provides high level of oversight and support to our offshore team What are we looking for? Institute of Credit Management (ICM) or Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) on-going study or qualification desired but not essential. Proven experience in a fast-paced Credit control environment. Experience within a Finance Operations function or a relevant business context.
