Finance Manager Barlborough, South Yorkshire £50,000 £55,000 per annum Monday Friday, 8:15am 4:45pm (on-site) Permanent, full-time Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a hands-on, commercially focused role within a growing, forward-thinking business? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation operating within the industrial and manufacturing sector. Youll report directly to the Finance Director and take ownership of day-to-day financial management, team leadership, and strategic support as the business continues to expand. The Role As Finance Manager, youll be responsible for leading a small finance team and ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and insight across the business. Youll play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, supporting operational decisions, and implementing process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a team of four Accounts Assistants Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, cashbook, and bank reconciliations Prepare VAT returns and statutory submissions, ensuring compliance and accuracy Produce monthly management accounts with clear commentary and analysis Prepare, review, and manage budgets and forecasts aligned with business objectives Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making Manage cash flow and working capital effectively Implement robust internal controls and process efficiencies Partner with operational and senior management to streamline processes and support growth About You Were looking for someone who is both technically strong and commercially astute, with the ability to lead a small team and drive continuous improvement across the finance function.
