Overview
The position is term time only, working 41 weeks. You will be educated to a Level 6 Careers Information Advice and Guidance or Level 4 is considered for candidates with significant experience of National Careers Service delivery.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to achieve targets by working with individuals to progress towards employment, learning or career progression.
You will be a motivational advisor able to build positive relationships, guide, inspire and encourage individuals to create and sustain employment and learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Deliver services to meet contractual and quality standards.
* Provide Career, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance to Post 16 students.
* Help individuals create and sustain employment and learning opportunities.
Requirements
* Level 4 Careers Information Advice and Guidance (Level 6 considered for candidates with significant experience).
* Level 2 Literacy & Numeracy or equivalent.
* Good working knowledge of the local labour market.
* Excellent time management.
* Excellent ICT skill to include Microsoft TEAMS.
* Ability to inspire and motivate.
* Commitment to achieve targets.
Desirable
* Level 6 Careers Information Advice and Guidance.
