Job Overview
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to work with us. The role is based on our adult cardiac ward (E3 Blue) which specialises in cardiac surgery and has strong links with the cardiac surgical team. We also care for patients with heart failure and those pre‑ and post‑cardiology interventions.
Ward ethos: ‘We pledge to care for you, the patient, as we would want our relatives to be cared for. We will treat you as an individual and aim to reach the best possible outcome. We will achieve this by working together, involving you and your loved ones in decisions that are made and by using the expertise of other members of the multidisciplinary team as required. We will continue to strive to maintain our high standards of care by furthering the knowledge of our staff and listening to your concerns. You are at the heart of what we do.’
University Hospital Southampton is one of England’s largest acute teaching Trusts, offering a wide range of learning and development opportunities to support your career aspirations. Located on the south coast with an international airport and direct rail links to London, it offers an ideal setting to live and work.
