Grade and Terms
* Band 3 - Salary Range £28,011 - £30,230 per annum (pro rata)
* Distant Islands Allowance of £2,482 per annum (pro rata)
* Post 1: Full time 37 hours (part time applicants welcome) – Fixed Term until 31/10/26
* Post 2: 21 hours per week – Fixed Term for 12 months
* Post 3: 7.5 hours per week – Substantive
About the role
Ward 3 is a busy acute medical ward that strives to give patients an excellent standard of care in a busy but happy environment which is both challenging and rewarding. You will learn many new skills and enable patients to have the best possible standard of care. We have a very experienced team that will be more than happy to support you to settle into this position. We can be flexible agreeing part-time working hours for the right candidate.
Requirements and qualifications
* Desirable: SVQ2 level in healthcare or equivalent experience working within a caring environment.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, numeracy and an interest in developing healthcare knowledge are essential.
Additional information
We have 3 positions available: post 1 (37 hours) and post 2 (21 hours) are fixed term to cover maternity leave for a period of 1 year; post 3 (7.5 hours) is substantive. This post may be suitable for a young person still in education and looking for that extra bit of experience.
